MANGO/PEACH YOGHURT DELIGHT by Faizah Musa



Mango/Peach Yoghurt Delight




Ingredients

1.) One bottle of yoghurt

2.) Mango nectar juice

3.) Honey to taste

4.) Two Peaches chopped

5.) Walnuts chopped

Tools

1.) Bowl

2.) Sieve

3.) Cheese cloth or clean dish towel

4.) Spoon

      (Serves 4)

Method

1.) Line your sieve with the dish towel and pour the yoghurt into it... tie up each alternating corners of the towel so as to form a pouch, leave in fridge overnight so that the whey (water properties) drain out.

2.) Take it out of the fridge when ready to use, pour away the whey, wash and clean bowl... squeeze whatever liquid you can out of the cloth and put the "cheese like" slab into the bowl.

3.) Pour the mango nectar juice, this replaces the whey that was in the yoghurt, and flavours the   yoghurt... mix till you get the right consistency then sweeten with the honey.

4.) Chop up your peaches and walnuts to bite size nibbles... mix in the peaches and divide between four bowls or small glasses... garnish with the nuts. Serve as a nice breakfast side dish or as a dessert.

5.) Mix it up and pair other juices and fruits i.e coconut nectar and pineapple chunks, orange nectar with tangerine pieces, milk and chopped up strawberries with toasted oats for a crunch.
