is on for the most creative young fashion designer who would launch his/her
outfit by November 2013 in the UNVEILED
PROJECT a competition organised to
discover, showcase, empower and help to establish talented young Nigerians with
a burning desire, passion for fashion design and desire to launch their own
fashion outfit within a year. This competition is organised by AnoksEmma
Concepts in conjunction with WTW Ent.
Besides
searching for talented fashion designers and exposing their skills and talents
in fashion design and the art of making clothes or fashion accessories, The
unveiled project also aims at offering them an opportunity to become leading
designers for fashion enterprises or launch their own labels by equipping them with
the knowledge and skills needed to excel in the fashion industry, hence
creating an avenue to expose their works to potential employers, clients and
the general public. At the long run the best individuals would be shot in the
spotlight alongside other renounced designers starting with a showcase of their
wears at the December edition of the Unveiled Fashion Show 2013.
THE UNVEILED PROJECT aims to cater for a teeming population of young individuals from diverse communities and groups who have a passion and talent for fashion and fashion design but have inadequate the resources and adequate skills to start, run and excel in the fashion industry. This competition is would run from march till November to ensure optimum development , skill acquisition by contestants and would test and nurture the talents of the contestants through numerous challenges and exercises geared towards indentifying and honing a range of creative skills and abilities that each contestant possesses. The unveiled project would be an annual event; it will take place every year between January and December, giving participants enough time to develop and perfect their knowledge of the fashion industry. This maiden edition kicks off in Lagos.
The unveiled project is a child of the Unveiled Fashion Show an event organised to showcase new collections from Nigerian designers while also giving new and upcoming designers the platform to launch their brands into the Nigerian fashion market.
